John R. Park Homestead

attractions-3.jpgNestled in a 19 acre conservation area on the north shore of Lake Erie, John R. Park Homestead is a restored 19th century farm home originally built in 1842. Also part of the homestead is a smoke house, ice house, blacksmith shop, sawmill, stable, and outhouse. Taste baking from the fireplace and chat with the blacksmith. Visit the heritage garden and orchard, meander along the boardwalk and relax by the lakeshore under the shade of a tree. Staff is dressed in period costumes.
